Senior and former Captain, Corrin Heinold, tells us what she is going to miss most about being a Hawkette.
“I’m going to miss Hawkettes so much but the things I’m going to miss the most are being able to do what I love just about every day with some of my closest friends and especially getting ready for football games with the team and dancing under the Friday night lights.”
Senior and former Co-captain, Zoe Naquin, tells us how much her life has changed by being a Hawkette.
“Well, Hawkettes has taught me leadership and teamwork and has made me feel a part of something where I can connect with people that love the same things as me.”
Many of the returning members are excited for the upcoming year on the Hannan High dance team.
Sophomore, Bri Vucinovich says, “Hawkettes has made me feel like I’m a part of one big family. I love being on the dance team because it has allowed me to make so many new friends. It allowed me to become a better dancer and a better person, I feel. I love Coach Christi! She is the main asset to our team.”
Coach Christi Valle tells us how much she enjoys Hawkettes.
“It’s a tremendous honor to be able to coach and mentor girls on a dance team that I was once a part of at Hannan High School. Beyond that, it’s a pleasure to watch the girls grow, not only as dancers but young women on a personal and academic level.”
Becoming a member of the Hawkettes Dance Team helps you to grow close friends and relationships that could last a lifetime.
