Archbishop Hannan vs. St. Pauls

March 22, 2019

On Monday the Hannan Freshman Baseball team played against St. Pauls one of the best teams they played during their season.

During the game on Monday Hannan vs. St Pauls the Hawks pitched Reid Passour and St. Pauls Pitched Aiden both had tremendous skill at pitching and it was hard for both teams to score any runs. Throughout most of the game our teams were neck to neck working hard to score some runs.

“We did really well Throughout the first few innings.” Coach Tyler said, “We hung in with a school that was 5A and had way more players than us.”

Throughout the game the Hawks battled against the wolves for every out they made we answered back and made one too, but eventually St. Pauls scored a run and they were in the lead do to an error.

As our pitcher grew tired the offense couldn’t back him up as there was no hit at all during the game for Hannan and there were many errors on the defense as well that ultimately led to St Paul’s winning 5-0.

“We could have hit a little bit better and cut down on the errors that we made on defensive.” Coach Tyler said, “But over all we played well and we just need to work on hitting and cutting down on our error that cost us runs.”
